On October 17, EXEED EXLANTIX's pioneering new energy SUV, the ET, featuring both BEV and REEV versions, embarked on the "2024 EXEED Global User Summit - Super Guardian Experience Tour" at Chery's Longshan Testing Ground. With its unassailable superior safety capabilities, the ET triumphantly completed four grueling tests - "underbody scraping," "battery immersion," "water wading," and "rollover" - under the watchful eyes of guests from different countries. This showcase demonstrated EXEED's technical prowess in ensuring comprehensive driving safety, garnering unanimous recognition from industry experts, authoritative media, and dealer partners from multiple countries. Safety Challenge: ET Surmounts the Dual Tests of Battery Safety and Vehicle Integrity The results of both tests revealed that the ET swiftly passed over metal obstacles, achieving an overlap distance of 30mm between the vehicle's underside and the obstacles. However, the vehicle's main structure remained unaffected, and the subframe mounting points did not fail. The power battery within showed no signs of smoke, fire, or explosion, and there was no leakage of electrolyte. In the subsequent water wading experiment, the ET, having undergone underbody scraping, drove at a speed of 5-10 km/h with a wading depth of 500mm, fully submerging the battery underwater. Ultimately, the vehicle's overall insulation resistance, passenger compartment dryness, and battery safety performance all met high standards. There were no dangerous situations such as electrical short circuits or battery pack leakage, and no water ingress into the cabin, ensuring the safety and comfort of the participants in the test drive. Simultaneously, as the ET model underwent these trials, EXEED conducted a separate "48-hour battery immersion experiment" on its battery pack. This experiment immersed the ET's battery pack in normal operating condition at a depth of 1 meter below the water surface for a continuous 48 hours. The final results showed no damage to the battery pack's casing, maintaining excellent sealing performance. The insulation resistance and electrical properties of the battery system also functioned normally. This series of tests effectively verifies that ET's batteries strictly follow the IPX8 waterproof rating requirements and have excellent waterproof safety and security capabilities. In addition to the direct battery tests, the ET successfully completed the highly challenging rollover test, assessing the vehicle's overall safety performance in emergency situations such as high-speed cornering loss of control and post-collision rollover. During the test, the ET mounted the rollover rack at a speed of 70 km/h, rolled over sideways, and then self-righted. Upon inspection, the ET's body structure remained intact, its restraint system proved effective, and the doors could be easily opened. The power battery exhibited no leakage, fire, or explosion hazards, and intelligent emergency rescue functions like E-CALL could be activated normally, further verifying EXEED's high-standard super safety system.
Global Guests Bear Witness: EXEED's Safety Prowess Garners Global Recognition
In the realm of new energy vehicles, battery safety has consistently been a focal point of public concern. To address this, EXEED designed the underbody scraping and water wading experiments. The former simulates the potential impact on the chassis when a vehicle traverses complex road conditions, particularly raised surfaces or potholes, testing the reliability of the battery pack and the entire underbody structure. The latter replicates rainy weather and water wading scenarios, examining the safe operation capability of the ET model after undergoing the underbody scraping test.
The resounding success of the "Super Guardian Experience Tour" safety tests not only highlighted the EXEED models' safety performance under extreme conditions but also served as a crucial showcase of the brand's global image. Attendees remarked, "This safety test astounded me. EXEED's testing conditions for vehicle safety are exceptionally stringent. Only vehicles built under such conditions can truly protect users' lives." »
Dealers and media from different countries worldwide participated as guests in this safety test, providing diverse perspectives and feedback for EXEED and demonstrating the brand's global influence. During the water wading test, guests experienced firsthand the ET's operational capabilities in water as test riders. This further enhanced their direct perception of the ET's safety performance, making the product's safety prowess evident to all and rendering the brand's safety commitment more trustworthy.
As a representative of EXEED's dedication to innovation and future development, the ET redefines the industry standard for luxury new energy SUVs. At the 2024 EXEED Global User Summit, EXEED also introduced the ET's derivative ecological products, redefining new energy, new luxury, and new ecology. Looking ahead, EXEED will continue to prioritize user-centric, high-end luxury quality, driving breakthroughs and explorations in safety technology innovation!
